A community born of two homes, one purpose.

It began as a dinner in Canberra. Twelve graduates. One long table. A shared conviction that the years spent under Australian skies were not the end of something, but the beginning.

Nearly two decades later, BAAA has grown into a global network of more than 1,400 alumni across twelve chapters — from Sydney to Perth, Thimphu to Singapore. We exist to keep that first dinner alive: the warmth, the candour, the sense that the people in the room were going to build something worth building.

Our work is unglamorous and patient: mentoring younger alumni, hosting homecomings, funding scholarships, and creating spaces where the values of Gross National Happiness meet the rigour of a world-class education.
